Just after finishing the proofs for our book, Alvar Aalto and the Future of Architecture, whose final chapter includes thermodynamic considerations that continue to inform how we design the experience of space, our client told us that the renovation we completed with her will be published in Dwell.

Dwell recognized the clarity of the space and the sensory experience shaped by the life of the client’s family, which guided the choices made to complete, furnish, and decorate the interiors. The project transformed an existing retail space into a loft.
